The hit Netflix series Wednesday has returned for a brand-new series, and this time there’s a special Irish twist. The series, directed by Tim Burton and starring Jenna Ortega, was filmed right here in Ireland. This gave our local talent a chance to step into the eerie, enchanting world of the Addams Family.
We’re especially excited because Casting Director Sophie Holland and her team used Fishpond to help cast a number of roles for the new series. Lots of brilliant Irish actors auditioned, and it’s always a proud moment for us to see our community of actors getting the chance to showcase their skills on such a global stage. Whether or not you landed a role this time, every audition is an achievement and a step forward.
